For over a decade, I have had the honor of with districts on instructional design. The majority of that work has focused on project-based learning and standards-based grading, however there has been an increase in both classroom management techniques (especially for new teachers) and student-led classrooms. Since I am not beholden to a particular package or company, I’m able to focus on teachers and what they need.
Good plans evolve. That’s the problem with a package program—it usually only comes with a static formula. There are ways to take that formula and really make it work for your teachers and students.
